Brass Knuckles Executives Back In Court

Sued for cutting investors out of lucrative deal

Rappers Dr. Dre and Xzibit are back in the California court system once again, this time facing a lawsuit by three individuals who claim they were cheated out of their "time, money, and hard work."

As first reported by tmz, the suit claims that the three alleged employees of Brass Knuckles were approached with a deal by co owners Xzibit and Dr. Dre. A 14.5% stake in the business for a total of $5 million. At the time this deal was formulated, Brass Knuckles had a valuation of $50 million.

The problem began once the three were able to put the money together. After it came time to pay and sign the deal, it was revealed that Brass Knuckles was actually worth $170 million. At this point, things begin to get murky.

According to the claim, once it became clear that the valuation had changed, Xzibit and Dr. Dre pretended the deal never existed and demanded more money in order to grant the 14.5% stake, completely screwing over people who had devoted a significant amount of time and hard work to the business.

The three are hoping for a ruling that grants them the 14.5% stake in Brass Knuckles as well as compensation for monetary damages and breach of contract.
