Stephen Colbert Makes Weed Themed Tourism Ad For Canada

Stephen Colbert joined the rest of reasonable Americans in welcoming Canada's new Cannabis laws, allowing for the recreational use of Marijuana. Of course, one of the arguments for legalizing it in the first place was this would lead to a massive increase in tourism. Montreal is already a cold place to visit and now it is about to become a chill place to visit as well. Of course, how much money is a matter of some debate, but if they want to capture as much as possible they are going to need a top notch ad campaign. Luckily, Stephen Colbert is here to help.

Canada Already Has A Pot Tourism Adwww.youtube.com

Of course, if you are really going to go all in, he thinks you should probably go ahead and rewrite the National Anthem as well.

The Original goes like this for anyone who has never watched the Toronto Blue Jays play:

O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all of us command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Now it will go

O Cannabis...I'm staring at my Hand. Then probably people would give up because singing national anthems seems really boring.

The ad is of course worth watching in its entirety since it features everything we all associate with Canada.

The great outdoors...

Maple Syrup

and of course...MOOSES!!!

Also the BareNaked ladies...for some reason...

See you in Canada! Since now don't have to be afraid of their real life Dudley Do Rights.

Or do we!
